Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work In Pairs No.1 by Yuan Jai was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 450,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 475,000.00 (€ 44,178.08). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Jai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Dining Table in April this year with an auction result of HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 2,695,956.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit In Pairs No.1 von Yuan Jai kam im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 450.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 475.000,00 (€ 44.178,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Jai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Dining Table im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 2.695.956,52).
