Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2011 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Blessed Peace by Yuan Jai. It changed hands for a price of HKD 560,000.00 (€ 51,715.78) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Jai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Dining Table in April this year with an auction result of HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 2,695,956.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blessed Peace von Yuan Jai zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 560.000,00 (€ 51.715,78) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Jai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Dining Table im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 2.695.956,52).
