Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Red Boats by Zaini. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,756.40) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Zaini have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2016 the work Boats was auctioned for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,041.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Red Boats von Zaini zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.756,40) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Zaini konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2016 die Arbeit Boats für HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.041,56) versteigert.
