The work Bloodline-Big Family Series by Zhang Xiaogang was sold in the Contemporary Art Asia auction at Christies in New York in March 2021. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,257.86), 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Xiaogang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bloodline Series The Big Family No. 2 in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 98,035,000.00 (€ 10,340,568.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bloodline-Big Family Series von Zhang Xiaogang wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.257,86) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Xiaogang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bloodline Series The Big Family No. 2 im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 98.035.000,00 (€ 10.340.568,27).
