Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2013 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Sanwei College by Zhou Bichu. The price achieved of HKD 460,000.00 (€ 45,028.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Bichu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jiaxing Misty Rain Pavilion in April this year with an auction result of HKD 744,000.00 (€ 759,769.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2013 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sanwei College von Zhou Bichu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 460.000,00 (€ 45.028,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Bichu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jiaxing Misty Rain Pavilion im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 744.000,00 (€ 759.769,57).
