Upper estimate price exceeded by 26 %.
In April 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included this untitled work by Zhou Chunya. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 504,000.00 (€ 53,961.10), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Chunya achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stone Series - The Tree Connected To Stone in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 32,525,000.00 (€ 3,722,477.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zhou Chunya zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 53.961,10) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Chunya erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stone Series - The Tree Connected To Stone im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 32.525.000,00 (€ 3.722.477,35).
