Despite a disappointment, a good price for Zhu Fadong
When the work Person for Sale by Zhu Fadong was auctioned at Phillips in London in October 2007, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 12,924.59). Despite this disappointing result, Person for Sale is the most expensive artwork by Zhu Fadong that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Zhu Fadong
Als die Arbeit Person for Sale von Zhu Fadong im Oktober 2007 bei Phillips in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 9.000,00 (€ 12.924,59) den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Person for Sale das teuerste Kunstwerk von Zhu Fadong, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
