With a broad selection of artistic positions, artist talks, lectures and workshops, the Rapperswil-Jona Artists' Association will be showcasing the diversity of art in the region: in the Spring Exhibition 2025, 21 artists will be presenting painting, sculpture and photography, among other things. The artists' association attaches great importance to the exchange between artists and the public, which is why it has organized an extensive accompanying programme. The lectures cover artistic topics as well as broader social issues relating to the exhibition venue, the Jona Center, and nature in the region. The Spring Exhibition 2025 runs from 25 April to 11 May; admission to the exhibition and the accompanying program is free.

Christoph Pauschenwein is also represented at the exhibition with around 10 works. The artist is showing a selection from his Planets series, whose colors match the spring theme of the show. Just as spring can bring feelings of lightness and the experience of a new world after the winter months, Pauschenwein's unconventional planets offer the opportunity to get to know new worlds. The spherical bodies, which appear hairy, combine organic and artificial elements and raise questions about physical and digital realities. Pauschenwein develops his planets using digital craftsmanship, without the use of AI. In the current exhibition, the artist presents his Planets in custom-made light boxes with dimmable white LED light. The dimming and the varying incoming daylight cause the colors to change and open up new perspectives on the works. Pauschenwein has exhibited the light boxes sporadically since 2020, so the spring exhibition is one of the rarer opportunities to marvel at them.

Opening hours:
Monday – Friday: 18:00h to 20:00h
