Auction result fails to reach estimate
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work A shepherd at sunset, in the background Roskilde Cathedral by Anton Edvard Kjeldrup for DKK 1,750.00 (€ 1,529.45). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Anton Edvard Kjeldrup have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Die Kreidefelsen von Møn. in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 12,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A shepherd at sunset, in the background Roskilde Cathedral von Anton Edvard Kjeldrup für DKK 1.750,00 (€ 1.529,45) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anton Edvard Kjeldrup auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Die Kreidefelsen von Møn. im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.500,00.
