Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Impressionniste et Moderne, which included the work Rue À Alet-Les-Bains by Achille Laugé. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 20,000 - 30,000, the actual price achieved of EUR 22,500 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Achille Laugé achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La route in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 809,000 (€ 948,068).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rue À Alet-Les-Bains von Achille Laugé zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 20.000 – 30.000 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 22.500 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Achille Laugé erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La route im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 809.000 (€ 948.068).
