Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les meules à Cailhau by Achille Laugé was auctioned at Bonhams in April this year. The price achieved of GBP 15,300.00 (€ 17,437.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Achille Laugé achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La route in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 809,000.00 (€ 948,068.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Les meules à Cailhau von Achille Laugé kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.300,00 (€ 17.437,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Achille Laugé erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La route im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 809.000,00 (€ 948.068,14).
