Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Adolph Gottlieb was sold in the The Swiss Fine Art Sale auction at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2021. It achieved a price of CHF 214,200.00 (€ 195,379.76), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolph Gottlieb achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bonac in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 4,812,500.00 (€ 4,250,198.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Adolph Gottlieb wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion The Swiss Fine Art Sale bei Sothebys in Zürich versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von CHF 214.200,00 (€ 195.379,76) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adolph Gottlieb erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bonac im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.812.500,00 (€ 4.250.198,71).
