The work Viale Delle Acacie by Afro was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in November 2020. It achieved a price of EUR 327,100.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Afro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Porta Portese, which sold at auction in November 2012 for USD 938,500.00 (€ 721,368.18).

Die Arbeit Viale Delle Acacie von Afro kam im November 2020 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 327.100,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Afro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Porta Portese beobachtet, die im November 2012 für USD 938.500,00 (€ 721.368,18) versteigert wurde.
