This artwork by Alan Uglow achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in July 2014. In the Forms in Color auction, the work without title sold for USD 4,000.00 (€ 2,987.30) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan Uglow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Standard #23 (Grey) in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 45,335.03).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Alan Uglow erzielte im Juli 2014 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Forms in Color wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 4.000,00 (€ 2.987,30) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alan Uglow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Standard #23 (Grey) im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 45.335,03).
