Admittedly, works by Albert Gleizes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le chemin (Meudon) in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 1,833,250.00 (€ 2,229,402.63).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 468.500,00 (€ 401.456,73) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Gleizes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le chemin (Meudon) im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.833.250,00 (€ 2.229.402,63).
