Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.481,48) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Neuhuys auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Young Love im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.400,00.
