Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dnipro Gasworks by Alexei Trotsenko was sold in the IMPRESSIONIST AND MODERN ART auction at Christies in London in April 2005. The price achieved of GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,486.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by Alexei Trotsenko have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2005 the work Sugarbeet Harvest was auctioned for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,440.44).
