Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La grande fantasia by André Brasilier was sold in the Modern Art Evening Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 1,197,000.00 (€ 133,149.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 800,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by André Brasilier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Grande chevauchée du lac en automne, which sold at auction in April last year for HKD 3,780,000.00 (€ 457,029.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La grande fantasia von André Brasilier wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Modern Art Evening Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.197.000,00 (€ 133.149,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 800.000,00 – 1.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von André Brasilier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Grande chevauchée du lac en automne beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für HKD 3.780.000,00 (€ 457.029,52) versteigert wurde.
