Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mick Jagger, 1975 by Andy Warhol was sold in the The Landscape of a Mind: A Private Collector's Surreal Vision auction at Christies in London in June 2019. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,728.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Warhol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shot Sage Blue Marilyn in May last year with an auction result of USD 195,040,000.00 (€ 181,753,797.41).

Die Arbeit Mick Jagger, 1975 von Andy Warhol wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion The Landscape of a Mind: A Private Collector's Surreal Vision bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.728,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andy Warhol erzielen.
