The work Loose Screw by Anna Weyant was worth USD 1,500,000.00 (€ 1,453,065.97) to a buyer in November last year. This price was achieved in the auction 21st Century Evening Sale at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 500,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Anna Weyant; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Falling Woman sold at auction in May last year with the realized price of USD 1,623,000.00 (€ 1,512,440.59).
