Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Four studies of a standing woman playing a rebec by Anselm Feuerbach was sold in the MASTER DRAWINGS FROM THE MARTIN BODMER FOUNDATION auction at Christies in New York in January 2002. The price achieved of USD 4,465.00 (€ 5,195.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anselm Feuerbach achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work German Medea An Der Urne (Medea) in November 2009 with an auction result of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 500,401.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Four studies of a standing woman playing a rebec von Anselm Feuerbach wurde im Januar 2002 in der Auktion MASTER DRAWINGS FROM THE MARTIN BODMER FOUNDATION bei Christies in New York versteigert.
