However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anton Corbijn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kraftwerk I-IV, Heads of the Kraftwerk mannequins, Barcelona, 1981, which sold at auction in November this year for EUR 44,100.00.

Die Arbeit "Clint Eastwood, Cannes, 1994" von Anton Corbijn kam im November 2016 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 140.000,00 (€ 14.293,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Für andere Arbeiten von Anton Corbijn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kraftwerk I-IV, Heads of the Kraftwerk mannequins, Barcelona, 1981 beobachtet, die im November diesen Jahres für EUR 44.100,00 versteigert wurde.
