Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2000 Christies in London held the auction OLD MASTER PICTURES, which included the work Moses receiving the Ten Commandments by Antonio Zanchi. The price achieved of GBP 7,050.00 (€ 11,230.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antonio Zanchi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Allegory of Time in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 73,250.00 (€ 93,064.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Moses receiving the Ten Commandments von Antonio Zanchi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 7.050,00 (€ 11.230,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antonio Zanchi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Allegory of Time im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 73.250,00 (€ 93.064,95).
