The work Small Witness III by Antony Gormley was auctioned at Christies in October 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 400,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antony Gormley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Case for an Angel I in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 5,296,250.00 (€ 6,038,761.70).

Die Arbeit Small Witness III von Antony Gormley kam im Oktober 2021 bei Christies zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 400.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antony Gormley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Case for an Angel I im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.296.250,00 (€ 6.038.761,70).
