Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sans titre by Arman was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Paris in June 2020. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,125.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Accord Majeur, 1962 in January 2008 with an auction result of EUR 371,760.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Arman wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.125,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Accord Majeur, 1962 im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 371.760,00.
