Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Petit torse de l'un des fils d'Ugolin by Auguste Rodin was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2016. The auction ended at the price of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 19,220.65), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Rodin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Éternel Printemps in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 20,410,000.00 (€ 18,329,591.38).

Die Arbeit Petit torse de l'un des fils d'Ugolin von Auguste Rodin kam im Februar 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 19.220,65) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auguste Rodin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Éternel Printemps im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.410.000,00 (€ 18.329.591,38).
