Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Femme Assise Par Terre Sur Socle by Baltasar Lobo. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,250.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Baltasar Lobo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pièce D'Eau in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 620,000.00 (€ 556,103.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Femme Assise Par Terre Sur Socle von Baltasar Lobo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.250,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Baltasar Lobo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pièce D'Eau im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 620.000,00 (€ 556.103,69).
