Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Great Expectation by Barry Reigate was sold in the Contemporary Art Online | London auction at Sothebys in London in April 2020. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,464.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Barry Reigate have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Real Special Very Painting in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,973.15).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.464,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
