This artwork by Bernar Venet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in March 2021. In the NOW! auction, the work Indeterminate Line sold for EUR 52,920.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernar Venet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 221.5° Arc x 15 in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 877,000.00 (€ 777,000.09).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Bernar Venet erzielte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion NOW! wurde die Arbeit Indeterminate Line für EUR 52.920,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernar Venet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 221.5° Arc x 15 im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 877.000,00 (€ 777.000,09).
