Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Picador by Bernard Lorjou was sold in the Collection Alain Bouret auction at Christies in Paris in October 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,125.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Bernard Lorjou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tournesols in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,874.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Picador von Bernard Lorjou wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Collection Alain Bouret bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.125,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernard Lorjou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tournesols im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 27.874,82).
