The work Berthe Morisot et sa fille devant une fenêtre by Berthe Morisot was sold in the Paris Avant-garde auction at Christies in Paris in October last year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 437,500, 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Berthe Morisot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme et enfant au balcon in February 2017 with an auction result of GBP 4,085,000 (€ 4,780,966).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25% übertroffen
Die Arbeit Berthe Morisot et sa fille devant une fenêtre von Berthe Morisot wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Paris Avant-garde bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 437.500 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Berthe Morisot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme et enfant au balcon im Februar 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.085.000 (€ 4.780.966).
