In October 2021 Christies in Paris held the auction Paris Avant-garde, which included the work Berthe Morisot et sa fille devant une fenêtre by Berthe Morisot. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 437,500.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Berthe Morisot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme et enfant au balcon in February 2017 with an auction result of GBP 4,085,000.00 (€ 4,780,965.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Paris Avant-garde durch, in der auch die Arbeit Berthe Morisot et sa fille devant une fenêtre von Berthe Morisot zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 437.500,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Berthe Morisot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme et enfant au balcon im Februar 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.085.000,00 (€ 4.780.965,81).
