This artwork by Berthe Morisot achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in October 2021. In the Paris Avant-garde auction, the work Tête d'enfant (palette) sold for EUR 27,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Berthe Morisot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme et enfant au balcon in February 2017 with an auction result of GBP 4,085,000.00 (€ 4,780,965.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 83 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Berthe Morisot erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Paris Avant-garde wurde die Arbeit Tête d'enfant (palette) für EUR 27.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Berthe Morisot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme et enfant au balcon im Februar 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.085.000,00 (€ 4.780.965,81).
