Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Modern Design | Art, which included the work Muscle Boys (Triptych) by Betty Woodman. The price achieved of USD 69,062.50 (€ 56,911.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Betty Woodman have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2019 the work Triptych (Tulips) was auctioned for GBP 87,500.00 (€ 101,493.72).
