Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bjarne Melgaard could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, this work without title changed hands for SEK 70,000.00 (€ 6,615.04) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bjarne Melgaard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Kill Me Before I Do It Myself" in May 2013 with an auction result of SEK 2,500,000.00 (€ 290,652.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bjarne Melgaard konnte im April 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für SEK 70.000,00 (€ 6.615,04) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bjarne Melgaard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Kill Me Before I Do It Myself" im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 2.500.000,00 (€ 290.652,91).
