Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Negativo-Positivo A 3 Dimensioni by Bruno Munari was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in November 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 22,500.00. Admittedly, works by Bruno Munari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Buccia di Eva in November this year with an auction result of EUR 140,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Negativo-Positivo A 3 Dimensioni von Bruno Munari im November 2016 bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 22.500,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bruno Munari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Buccia di Eva im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 140.000,00.
