Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Works on Paper Sale, which included the work Paysanne à la fourche by Camille Pissarro. It changed hands for a price of USD 27,720.00 (€ 25,412.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Camille Pissarro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Boulevard Montmartre, Matinée De Printemps in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 19,682,500.00 (€ 23,879,608.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Works on Paper Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysanne à la fourche von Camille Pissarro zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 27.720,00 (€ 25.412,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Camille Pissarro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Boulevard Montmartre, Matinée De Printemps im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.682.500,00 (€ 23.879.608,50).
