Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Forte dei Marmi by Carlo Carrà was auctioned at Christies in Milan in May 2012. It changed hands for a price of EUR 33,560.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Carrà achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il meriggio in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 480,050.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Forte dei Marmi von Carlo Carrà kam im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 33.560,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Carrà erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il meriggio im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 480.050,00.
