The work The War at Balcony by Chang Chen-Yu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. It achieved a price of HKD 271,500.00 (€ 22,351.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Chang Chen-Yu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Your Quarrel and My Traumas sold at auction in May 2008 with the realized price of HKD 319,500.00 (€ 26,303.31).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 271.500,00 (€ 22.351,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Chang Chen-Yu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Your Quarrel and My Traumas im Mai 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 319.500,00 (€ 26.303,31).
