Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART, which included the work A hunting party at rest by Charles Rochussen. It changed hands for a price of EUR 8,962.50 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Other works by Charles Rochussen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2003 the work Stadholder William III inspecting the troups at Hinderschans was auctioned for EUR 10,755.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit A hunting party at rest von Charles Rochussen zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 8.962,50 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Charles Rochussen konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2003 die Arbeit Stadholder William III inspecting the troups at Hinderschans für EUR 10.755,00 versteigert.
