The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,386.00 (€ 1,539.03), 73% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charley Garry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Architect Léon Joseph Madeline (1891-1977), which sold at auction in November 2019 for EUR 5,250.00.

Für andere Arbeiten von Charley Garry mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of Architect Léon Joseph Madeline (1891-1977) beobachtet, die im November 2019 für EUR 5.250,00 versteigert wurde.
