The work Youth by Cheng Yong was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 400,000.00 (€ 34,761.49), 33% above the upper estimate. Other works by Cheng Yong have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 34,817.19) in October 2010 for the work Summer.

Die Arbeit Youth von Cheng Yong wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 34.761,49) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Cheng Yong haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 34.817,19) im Oktober 2010 für die Arbeit Summer beobachtet.
