This artwork by Chi Hong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. In the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Unknown sold for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 13,004.03) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. This high result makes Unknown the most expensive artwork by Chi Hong that we have observed at auctions so far.
