Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Divine Gas by Chiho Aoshima was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2019. The price achieved of USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,355.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chiho Aoshima achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work City Glow in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 48,508.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Divine Gas von Chiho Aoshima kam im September 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.355,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chiho Aoshima erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit City Glow im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 48.508,37).
