This artwork by Christian Jaccard achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in September 2018. In the Alias Daniel Cordier auction, the work Empreinte En Dégradé Polychrome sold for EUR 4,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christian Jaccard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Empreinte - 1972, which sold at auction in March last year for EUR 9,709.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Christian Jaccard erzielte im September 2018 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Alias Daniel Cordier wurde die Arbeit Empreinte En Dégradé Polychrome für EUR 4.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Christian Jaccard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Empreinte - 1972 beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für EUR 9.709,00 versteigert wurde.
