Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Christine Ay Tjoe; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Layer As A Hiding Place sold at auction in May last year with the realized price of HKD 13,050,000.00 (€ 1,549,315.07).
