Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale, which included the work Délivrance by Chu Teh-Chun. The price achieved of HKD 19,735,000.00 (€ 2,365,458.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 16,000,000.00 – 28,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chu Teh-Chun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harmonie Hivernale in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 229,568,000.00 (€ 24,578,851.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Délivrance von Chu Teh-Chun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 19.735.000,00 (€ 2.365.458,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 16.000.000,00 – 28.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chu Teh-Chun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harmonie Hivernale im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 229.568.000,00 (€ 24.578.851,54).
