This work without title by Chung Sang-Hwa was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 105,515.98), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Chung Sang-Hwa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled 97-3-26 in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 6,440,000.00 (€ 757,854.41).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Chung Sang-Hwa kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 105.515,98) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chung Sang-Hwa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled 97-3-26 im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.440.000,00 (€ 757.854,41).
