In November 2009 Phillips in London held the auction Music, which included the work The Who, Manchester, England by Colin Jones. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,641.56), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Colin Jones have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Newcastle, 1963 in September 2010 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,397.42).

Im November 2009 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Music durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Who, Manchester, England von Colin Jones zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.641,56) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Colin Jones auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Newcastle, 1963 im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.397,42).
