Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,770.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Bailey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bob Dylan in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 63,800.00 (€ 42,009.61).
