Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Sceadu by Deborah Remington for USD 1,375 (€ 969). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000 – 7,000 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Deborah Remington achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gallatin in March this year with an auction result of USD 52,920 (€ 47,706).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sceadu von Deborah Remington für USD 1.375 (€ 969) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000 – 7.000. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Deborah Remington erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gallatin im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.920 (€ 47.706).
